Get Involved
Berkeley Partners for Parks (BPFP) is a nonprofit devoted to supporting Berkeley-area parks, open space, nature, and recreation through encouraging citizen involvement. Since its incorporation in 1994, BPFP has been an advocate, advisor, and fiscal sponsor for local projects carried out by our partner groups. This has played a vital role in bringing funding and thousands of hours of volunteer labor — sweat equity" to create, improve, and maintain local parks, community gardens, recreational facilities, natural areas, and open space. Often working with cities and businesses, our partner groups innovate and enliven our cities.
