The next work party: Sunday, 1 July, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. — Whitaker Path.
We will continue building Whitaker Path on Sunday, July 1.
It’s always exciting to work on a new path and I hope you can show up and help. The materials for this path are paid for by a grant we received from the UC Chancellor’s Community Partnership Fund. TIME: 10am-12:30pm
PLACE: Whitaker Path
Top end: between 1138 & 1144 Sterling Ave, at the intersection with Whitaker Ave

Directions: If you’re driving, head for Grizzly Peak Blvd and Stevenson Ave (Stevenson Ave is very near Muir Way). Turn down Stevenson Ave towards the bay, and at the end of Stevenson, turn right onto Miller Ave. Then take the first left, onto Whitaker Ave and continue downhill. The top of the path is beside the utility pole at the junction of Whitaker Ave and Sterling Ave.
We will have refreshments at the end, and will try to be quite prompt about the quitting time since there are many activities of all sorts happening in the afternoon.
Bring work gloves if you have them, and a mattock or sledge hammer if you have it, but I’ll have plenty of tools and extra gloves as well.
