Civic Center Park

The renovation for Civic Center Park is finally getting under way.  Stage one of the renovation plan features the fountain rebuilt to original specifications, with "Turtle Island" modifications resting on top the outer structure of the fountain.

Additional work depends on the availability of funds.  The play area would be moved to the existing grassy area north of the fountian, and a new chess table area would be added south of the fountain.  Pathways would be widened and a cafe added.  The west-end of the park would be opened up, with a skate feature added.
