San Francisco Mime Troupe in Berkeley Parks

Last Supper?
The San Francisco Mime Troupe celebrates another year of free performances in parks.

This summer it’s Godfellas.

The San Francisco Chronicle writes:

“…one of the company’s sharpest, funniest and most fundamentally patriotic, original musical comedies…penetratingly pertinent political satire, expertly performed by six remarkably versatile and tuneful actors and staged with comic snap.”

Berkeley performances:
July 8 & 9 at Cedar/Rose Park
August 12 & 13 at Live Oak Park
August 26 & 27 at Willard Park

Get your face painted or wear a balloon hat. Try the giant slide or splash in the water at the beach!

Plenty of fun stuff for adults, too! No need to cook – lots of international food booths.

  • Experience a magnificent sunset
  • Your horizon birthday point
  • The metaphorical meanings of the four directions
  • How is the Summer and geographical South associated with Cesar Chavez & “Si Se Puede”? (particularly important in this time of immigrant civil right struggles)

We have a new center gnomon that allows many mid-day shadow activities.
