Take the Berkely Pools Survey

Tell us (Pools for Berkeley) how you use Berkeley’s public pools and how you’d like to see Berkeley’s pools and programming improved. Online at //poolsforberkeley.org/survey.aspx.

This survey will run throughout the summer. Results will be announced later in the year. Open to all Berkeley residents and users of Berkeley’s public pools.

Dear Willardians and all swimmers and all those who love to party,

We are planning a splendid Pool Party at Willard Pool, one of the best kept secrets in Berkeley. This pool may look a little worn out on the outside, but come inside and you’re in Alice-in-Wonderland’s Garden.

We invite you to come as our guest, free of charge, and take a tour of the facilities and swim if you like.

Tasty goodies will be provided, as well amazing Swimmers’ Punch.

The WilLARDian Ladies Synchronized Swim Team will perform; Swim-master and musician, Yassir Chadry, will entertain us with his exotic Moroccan music as well as tunes from the 30’s.

If you have been hiding your own performing talent under a bushel, this is your time to shine! Please add your talent to the event.

All additions in talent and food are welcome. And, of course, bring your swim suit and try the waters.

Come one, Come All!!!! See you on the 30th!!

A unique opportunity to hear rare string quartets led by award winning chamber music stylist and publisher, Ron Erickson. Guests artists include Summer Brenner, novelist, Charles Lucke, photographer, Gael Alcock, Sue Draheim, Rachel Durling, and Madeline Prager, strings. Music composed by Larry London, Gabriel Faure, and Eduardo Rovira.

$10 donation benefits city pool passes for
YEAH, a homeless shelter for transitional age youth.
